This is just out, so I won't post it here. Easily one of my favourite releases from 2011 though, and if you like this track I urge you to buy the LP (can be bought here).
Damn, this sounds great. Thank you for turning me on to their new record, I didn't even know it existed (I had somehow missed it when I was there trying to get the Evan Cameniti record). Anyway, I just posted this question to my other favorite blogger and had wanted to ask you as well: What do you use to rip the tapes and LPs you post? I think your digital versions all sound pretty fantastic and I was wondering how you do it because it's simply interesting but also because I would like to do it for albums no one posts (or labels/artists don't want posted) so that I could have more portable versions. Thank you in advance ;)
Hey. For vinyl I use a Goldring GR1, which is a good and fairly non-expensive entry level turntable. For cassettes I use a Denon DRS-610 tape deck, which I believe was somewhat high-end when it was released back in 91/92. For audio editing I use an old version of CoolEdit Pro.
