Most of the music found on this blog is out of print and no longer available for purchase. Hopefully these records will be reissued and made available again in the future. Some of the stuff posted here might probably still be available for purchase though. I strongly encourage buying music, whenever this is possible. I suggest checking out the respective labels' website, or excellent web stores/distros such as Aquarius and Mimaroglu. You can count on them carrying most good 'non-mainstream' music still in print.

I believe that the vast number of independent, non-profit music blogs found on the net today are good tools for supporting independent and experimental music and its bands/artists, and helping them reach new audiences. As importantly, they help to ensure that long-deleted/abandoned releases are kept from simply disappearing into obscurity. There is an abundance of music out there that sadly isn't available anymore for the adventurous listener. My main purpose with running this blog is to introduce people to music they otherwise would be unlikely to ever hear.

Having said all that, I accept that some might not wish for their music to be made available in this way (although to my delight this happens very rarely). Should you find your stuff linked to from this blog and, for whatever reasons, wish for the link(s) to be removed, send me an email (or leave a comment) and I will remove it immediately.

If you should come across any dead links I'll appreciate it if you would take the time to notify me, preferably by leaving a comment. Unless the links have been taken down by the artist/label, I will try to replace them. (Update: but most probably I won't bother really.)

Use WinRAR to extract files.

If you want your music to be posted on this blog, send me an email. I'll do my best to find the time to listen to it. Even better though, if you want to send me a promo or a physical copy, get it in touch and I'll let you know how.
